MIG 21 Fishbed variants

This MiG 21 is already for years on display in the "Militaire Luchtvaart Museum" at Soesterberg (March 2005).

This MiG 21 473 of the "Nationale Volks Armee" showed up after the fall of the iron curtain at

                                   Twenthe Air Base. (early nineties)

       For the last time: a Czech MiG 21 MFN (5603) at Kleine Brogel (B) June 2005.

 The static show of the open days at Leeuwarden in July 2001 was highlighted by this beautiful Lancer.

       This "tiger" MiG 9308 van 3 elt. was pictured at the Radom flightline in September 2002.

          In  September 2003 this dual MiG 21 9349 of 3 elt. was present at Radom Air Base.

   The airshow at Deblin in 1998 showed some good old stuff of the Polish Air Force.

                               One of them was this Recce MiG 21 1064.

              41 elt. was present with this splendid MiG 21 at the static of Radom 2002.

        Special guests at Leeuwarden AB in 1999 were 4 MiG 21's of 9 PLM (august 1999).

De RIAT of 1991 brought us many interesting Russian built aircraft. As an example four MiG 21's

                                 of the Hungarian Air Force.( july 1991)

Big surprise was this Flogger 03 red of the Hungarian Air Force. For the first time in the Netherlands

                           at the open house at Eindhoven Air Base 1993.

       This version of  the Flogger was shown in 1997 by the Czech Air Force at Fairford .

Despite all the people in the background at the RIAT...it still is a beautiful aircraft, this dual Flogger.

   MiG 23 bort 15 of the Pápa Air Base in Hungary at the open house in Eindhoven juli '93.

 Twenthe Air Base was scene of the squadron exchange between 313 sq. and the 59 HVO

                               of the Hungarian Air Force.(summer 1996)

The MiG 29 remained in the inventory of the Slovak Air Force after the break up of Czechoslovakia.

            Unfortunately the MiG days are already over for the German Luftwaffe.

                           MiG 29A 29+01 at Kleine Brogel ( 19-06-01)

The Czech Air Force already quit flying the MiG 29 for a long time, in 1991 it was still present at the RIAT.
